Network & Software

Coral is now on the iPoker software and offers numerous features including avatars, four colour decks, bet slider options and advanced multi-tabling options. It runs on all major devices and is not glitchy or laggy. Having played on Coral for this review, I had zero issues playing on both desktop and mobile. You can even multi-table on mobile which is unique to many poker sites.

I like that Coral Poker prohibits the use of all poker HUDS as it keeps the fishes in the game and deters regulars from setting up home here. You can still download hand histories for study which is neat.

Banking & Payment Methods

Coral offers customers deposit options via Visa, Mastercard PayPal, Skrill and Paysafe cards. I had no issues depositing and funds were credited instantly. I also processed a cash out and found it to be just as quick as other major poker sites. As some sites are now accepting cryptocurrency, I have to mark Coral poker down a point. Whilst I don’t use cryptocurrency I know some of you may prefer this method.

RATING: 4/5

Traffic

Since moving to the iPoker network, Coral poker has had a bump in traffic. I checked the lobby at random times in a week and was impressed with the numbers. You can literally find hundreds of games running 24/7. It can range from 1,500 off peak to 7,0000 at peak times.

They offer a decent tournament schedule with lucrative prize-pools too. Most tournaments start with 100,000 in chips which can feel like your deeper than you are so make sure you check the increments. Their fast-fold cash game format is popular and always has games running ranging from NL $2 to NL $500. They also offer the popular “spins” games where you player in hyper turbo format SNG with chance to win massive amounts.

Support

Like a lot of sites most of Coral’s support is offered through a portal with standard Q and As. There are literally dozens of standard queries answered here. This is certainly helpful and a timesaver for them but lacks the personal touch a bit for me.

RATING: 3/5

Rewards

Coral poker offer a pretty decent cashback scheme for those who play frequently. It rewards those who put in serious hours by offering up to 40% rakeback, paid weekly into your account. Depending on the tier you are in, you will receive between 10 and 40% rakeback.

You receive 1 point for every $1 in rake you generate at the tables. Once you earn 5 points you start collecting $0.50c. All you need to do is head over to the “Rewards” section of the client and opt in.

I am a big fan of this system as it incentivises players to put in the hours. You can bolster you monthly earnings doing this and you don’t have to sign up to a rakeback deal with a middle man. It’s paid out weekly and is available for withdrawal too. Kudos to Coral poker on this one.

Competition

Compared to some of the other major poker sites, Coral is a lot fishier. I dabbled in the micro and low stakes games for weeks for this coral poker review and was thrilled to see so many fishy players. You’ll see players stacking off light, limping and min betting all the way down. It’s great for the game. I suspect the banned use of HUD has put off many professionals and grinders from playing here which is awesome for those who want to generate a decent win rate. There are still regulars about but there is definitely a lower percentage and they are easily identified through their bet sizing alone.

Conclusion on Coral Poker

I am a huge fan of this site. Before playing, I was skeptical to the software, efficiency and games available but I’ve been completely won over. I love the fact they don’t allow HUDs and are appealing to the recreational player. Their deposit and cash outs are very fast and they offer a neat reward system for playing there regularly. I only played a few tournaments for this coral poker review and final tabled in a field of 979. I was impressed that the calibre of player was low in them too. If you are keen to generate a high win rate and open to not using HUDs I highly recommend Coral.
